Introduction
Gypsia Morris and Martha A. Harper are eager to share their love of Jesus Christ and daily awareness of God with special children who have been rescued from distressed environments.  When a friend communicated difficult situations of children found in multiple countries world-wide, Martha began writing to communicate God’s Word and unconditional love to them.
As she was developing the text, Martha reached out to her neighbor, Gypsia Morris, asking if she would use her art talent to illustrate the book as well as supply part of the content.  Together they have provided clear devotions that highlight God’s Word, wrap the children in prayer and thought, giving them a chance to make their own personal connection with the Almighty God.
The text is simple yet powerful and the Holy Scriptures provide healing to these fragile spirits. The illustrations are by someone who understands the heart of a child. Above all Gypsia and Martha know Jesus as their personal savior and seek to share Him with the children through “Whisper Gently with Quiet Tears.”
